Research on regulation rule of diesel engine adjustable two-stage turbocharging system
The GT-POWER model was used to simulate the adjustable two-stage turbocharging system of WP7 diesel engine. The regulation rule of the high-pressure bypass valve was analyzed. The results showed that the total pressure ratio,low-pressure stage pressure ratio and high-pressure stage pressure ratio of the booster system decreased gradually with the increase of the opening of the high-pressure bypass valve.Among them, the total pressure ratio of the booster system was particularly affected by the change of the opening of the bypass valve. At 75%load,with the change of bypass valve opening, the total pressure ratio change reached 2.33.The overall efficiency of turbocharger decreased significantly with the increase of bypass valve opening. When a butterfly valve was used for the bypass valve, after the opening degree was greater than a certain degree, the total efficiency decline rate was obviously slowed down.
