Design and experiment of tomato grading machine in greenhouse
A tomato grading machine in greenhouse was designed to address the problem of the existing fixed fruit grading equipment being too large to adapt to narrow greenhouse operating environments and the complex structure of mobile fruit grading.Taking tomatoes as the research object,a grading machine mechanism and its key components were designed using SoliderWorks based on the rolling properties of tomato slopes, the vulnerability of thin skin, and the structure of a four-cell fruit box.Using the STM32 microcontroller as the controller, the pressure type weighing sensor DYMH-102 was used to sample the weighing analog signal, and the 24 bit A/D converter HX711 was used for analog-to-digital conversion. The controller divided the tomato grades based on the tomato weighing values, controlled the digital servo and electric push rod actions, and ultimately achieved tomato grading. The results showed that the absolute error of tomato weighing was 3.8 g,the tomato grading cycle was 4.8 s,the success rate of tomato grading was 87%,and the grading machine performance was good, which could provide support for the development of intelligent equipment and technology in facility agriculture.
