Research on correlation analysis between driving characteristic parameters and VSP
The accuracy of the vehicle specific power(VSP)fuel consumption estimation model was related to the driving conditions. In order to further improve the accuracy of the model,it was necessary to explore the correlation between the characteristic parameters of short travel segments and VSP,and optimize the selection of parameters for selecting short travel segments during the construction of driving conditions.Based on actual road driving data of vehicles, correlation analysis between VSP and driving condition characteristic parameters was conducted using SPSS software. The results indicate that the main characteristic parameter affecting VSP was the average acceleration during acceleration and deceleration, while the secondary characteristic parameter was the average driving speed. When applying the short travel method to construct driving conditions, using the above two characteristic parameters as the basis for selecting short travel segments, the constructed driving conditions will also improve the accuracy of the VSP fuel consumption estimation model to a certain extent.
