Research on high-speed torque measurement system based on FPGA
In response to the issue of accurately detecting torque on transmission shaft platforms rotating at high speeds,a torsional deformation-based torque measurement system designed for high-speed operational environments was introduced. The system comprises three main components:Hall sensors,Field Programmable Gate Array(FPGA),and an upper computer.Belonging to the phase difference torque measurement instrument category, this torque measurement system acquires deformation signals from the shaft and utilizes the FPGA as a processing chip to achieve accurate and efficient information processing.Additionally,an interactive interface based on PYQT5 was designed to display the final torque measurement results.Under high-speed rotating conditions, this system could effectively and precisely read the torque applied to the shaft at the current speed.Experimental results demonstrated that the proposed torque measurement system maintained a measurement accuracy error of within 1%for transmitted shaft torque, meeting the requirements of practical engineering measurements.
