Research onkinematic characteristics of heavy truck steering wheels based on skeleton model
To solve the problems of complex and long modification cycles in traditional kinematic analysis methods for steering wheels,a skeleton model-based analysis method was proposed.Taking a certain heavy-duty truck as the research object, the system skeleton and part skeleton are created in a parameterized manner through CATIA software, and the mapping relationship between the system skeleton and the part skeleton was maintained.Add relevant motion pairs between the skeleton models of the parts and establish a DMU model.Perform kinematic analysis on the steering wheel to obtain the relationship between relevant parameters and tire runout,as well as the corresponding relationship between left and right steering wheel angles. This method does not require the establishment 3D part model, and the skeleton model and kinematic characteristics could be modify by adjusting parameters.
