Numerical analysis of static bending and torsional stiffness of a new type of integrated die-casting vehicle body
In order to improve the stiffness and performance of vehicles and reduce the number of parts,a new type of A00 grade electric platform with a die-casting body using high-pressure die-casting aluminum alloy material was proposed.Stiffness verification would be conduct on the vehicle body, and methods to improve stiffness performance would be study. The free mode, bending, and torsional stiffness of the new vehicle wouldl be verify through CAE.A method based on uniform elastic strain energy would be apply to optimize the body of a white car to enhance its torsional stiffness. The optimized torsional stiffness and bending stiffness of the vehicle body are 11 485(N·m)/(°)and 17 329 N·mm,respectively, meeting the performance target requirements.
