Identification of causality between death and accidents in complex traffic accident
In complex traffic accidents with multiple vehicle chain collisions, cases where multiple collisions cause secondary injuries leading to fatalities were not uncommon, and such accidents were more likely to occur on highways during rainy or snowy weather or at nighttime.Due to the involvement of multiple vehicles and the complexity of the accident patterns, determining the causal relationship between fatalities and each collision is of great significance for clarifying accident liability. This type of analysis was a difficult point in the identification of trace evidence in traffic accidents and could be include in the scope of comprehensive identification, requiring interdisciplinary knowledge in areas such as trace evidence and forensics to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the elements and their relationship to the accident.Through the analysis of an actual accident case, this article discusses the causal relationship between secondary injuries and death in complex traffic accidents, and provides a reference for the identification of such cases in the future.
