Coupling Mechanism and Coordination Effect of Rural Revitalization and Science and Technology Innovation——An empirical analysis based on 11 counties and districts in Yantai city,Shandong province
Science and technology innovation is a key driving force for rural revitalisation.Taking Yantai City in Shandong Province as the research object,the entropy weight-TOPSIS evaluation model,coupling coordi-nation degree model and relative development degree model are used to examine the coupling mechanism and coordination effect of science and technology innovation and rural revitalisation.The results show that:(1)from the perspective of development level,the comprehensive level of rural revitalisation and science and technology innovation in Yantai City is generally good,but the problem of regional development imbal-ance is prominent;(2)from the perspective of coupling coordination,there is a strong correlation between rural revitalisation system and science and technology innovation system in Yantai City,which is barely co-ordinated during the period of 2014-2018,and is upgraded to the primary coordination stage during the period of 2019-2022,showing a spatial distribution pattern of"high coupling in the north-western part of the city and low coupling in the southeastern part of the city",and the coupling differences between regions have a tendency to converge over time;(3)in terms of relative development,Yantai is at a stage of devel-opment where the level of science and technology innovation is mildly lagging behind the level of rural revi-talisation,but there is a tendency to narrow down for the difference between the two.
