Dynamic Changes of Vegetation Coverage in the Oasis of the Lower Reaches of Kaidu River Based on Dimidiate Pixel Model
Based on Landsat TM images during three periods, this paper selected the dimidiate pixel model and barycenter model to analyze the changes of vegetation coverage in the oasis of the lower reaches of Kaidu River Basin District from 1990~2010.The results showed that ares of the coverage in polar and high vegetation districts increased first and then decreased, the ares in low and middle vegetation districts cut down first and then increased.Changes in vegetation coverage showed to improve as a whole, only but this improvement was more obvious in northwestern and southern districts,it degraded in northern and southwestern districts. There was a obvious barycenter migration in the high and low vegetation coverage districts from 1990 to 2010.
