Characteristics of Temperature and Light Demand of Tomatoes in Solar Greenhouse during the Fruit Expansion Stage
To study the demand characteristics of temperature and light environment factors during tomato expanding period,we took'Kedjali 1832'as the test material planting in 12 batches, and studied the effect of different temperature and light environments in the solar greenhouse on the tomato growth during the early and late stages of fruits expansion. The results showed that the tomato fruit expansion stage could be divided into early stage(including gradual growth period and linear growth period)and late stage(slow growth period)by constructing the logistic model of tomato fruit transverse diameter based on growth days.We comprehensively evaluated the growth factors of tomato in the early and late fruit expansion stages, and obtained the temperature and light demand parameters of each period by principal component analysis(PCA),the suitable daily average temperature, day average temperature, night average temperature, photosynthetically active radiation(PAR)and sunshine hours in the early stage of tomato fruit expansion were 19.73±2.26℃,25.39±2.51℃,16.80±2.04℃,543.03±153.40 μmol·m-2·s-1 and 11.31±0.60 h·d-1,respectively.The suitable daily average temperature, day average temperature, night average temperature,PAR and sunshine hours in the late stage of tomato fruit expansion were 19.27±2.30℃,26.13±2.90℃,15.43±1.15℃,542.51±155.11 μmol·m-2·s-1and 10.52±0.79 h·d-1,respectively.These results provide a theoretical basis for the precise regulation of temperature and light environment for high quality and efficient production of tomato.
