In order to clarify the effects of litter input changes on soil physicochemical properties and ecological stoichiometric characteristics of carbon, nitrogen and phosphorus in Masson Pine-oak mixed forest,a 5-year litter gradient control experiment was carried out at the forest ecosystem observation station in Dabie Mountain,Henan Province, and the physicochemical properties and nutrient contents of 0-10 cm topsoil were measured. The connection between the litter input and the stoichiometric ratio of C:N:P and the change of litter input was discussed in order to provide a scientific basis for the sustainable management of plantation in the transition zone from subtropical to warm temperate climate. The results showed that:(1)The increase of litter input significantly increased soil water content, ammonium nitrogen, nitrate nitrogen, carbon, nitrogen and phosphorus contents, but significantly decreased soil pH value.(2)Litter input had no significant effect on soil C:N,and soil C:P and N:P increased significantly with the increase of litter input.(3)Soil total carbon was the main factor affecting C:N;Soil pH,water content, ammonium nitrogen and nitrate nitrogen, total carbon and total nitrogen were the main factors affecting soil C:P and N:P.In the future, the variation of above-ground litter input caused by environmental changes and human interference will cause nutrient restrictions on the forest growth of trees in this area, and nitrogen fertilizer and phosphate fertilizer will be applied appropriately applied in the stage of masson pine and oak to ensure the good growth of trees and promote the benign nutrient cycle between soil and plants.
