We carried out the pilot-scale experiment to investigate the effect of aeration rate on the pollutants removal in the start-up stage of membrane-forming process in an integrated wastewater treatment plant with moving bed biofilm reactor-biofilter(MBBR-BF)and explored the adaptability of integrated equipment and pollutant treatment capacity in low temperature environment. The results show that the decrease of aeration rate has little effect on the removal rate of COD and TN,while the removal rate of NH3-N and TP decreased accordingly, the average removal rate of NH3-N decreased from 87.46%to 48.64%,and the average removal rate of TP decreased from 72.41%to 54.66%.Under normal temperature environment, the average removal rate of COD,NH3-N,TN,and TP are 92.48%,94.41%,49.39%,and 61.63%,respectively.Low temperature has a significant impact on the pollutants removal. The pilot-scale application experiment is in good status and the integrated device works satisfactorily in winter low-temperature environment. Our study can provide an important reference for the effective treatment of rural domestic wastewater.
