Microbial Agents on Seed Germination and SeedlingGrowth of Flowering Chinese Cabbage
We studied the effects of 10 types of microbial agents on the germination index of seeds, the biomass, seedling index, root structure, and photosynthetic pigment content of flowering Chinese cabbage seedlings to investigate the effects of microbial agents on seed germination and seedling growth of flowering Chinese cabbage. The results showed that after adding exogenous microbial agents, the germination index of seeds, seedling index, root length, root surface area, root volume, and chlorophyll(a+b)content increased to different degrees.Among them, the germination index of Priestia endophytica(T1)treatment was higher significantly 40.7%than water treatment(CK1).Compared to nutritional liquid(CK2)treatment,the seedling index and root length of flowering Chinese cabbage seedlings increased significantly by 50.0%and 87.7%under Bacillus halotolerans(T4)treatment,respectively.The root surface area, root volume, root average diameter and chlorophyll(a+b)content were higher significantly 154.4%,89.7%,13.5%,and 19.3%under T1 treatment than nutritional liquid treatment, respectively. The membership function results indicated that Priestia endophytica 400-times diluted treatment is beneficial to promote the growth of flowering Chinese cabbage.
