With the widespread application of information technology in the agricultural field, smart agriculture has gradually become an important direction for the modernization of agriculture.Rational and efficient agricultural management processes are of significant importance for improving production efficiency, reducing operating costs, and achieving sustainable development. This paper proposes a modeling and simulation method for smart agricultural management processes based on Petri nets.Firstly, the smart agricultural management process is intuitively described and modeled using UML sequence diagrams, state diagrams, and interaction diagrams.Secondly, the above diagrams are transformed into a formalized expression in the form of a multi-mode Petri net composed of ordinary nets, timed nets, colored nets, and stochastic nets, thereby constructing a Petri net model with complex logical features such as parallelism and choice.Subsequently,a simulation method based on multi-mode Petri nets is designed to simulate dynamic resource allocation and process execution during agricultural production processes. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified through an illustrative case study, and reachability analysis demonstrates the strong modeling and simulation capabilities of the method. This research provides powerful support for the optimization and automation control of smart agricultural management processes.
