Simulation Analysis of Freeze Thawing of Cement Sand Gravel Dam in Operation Period Based on Damage Theory
In order to study the freeze thawing effects on the normal operation of cemented sand gravel dam, taking Shoukoupu cemented sand gravel dam as research object, considering the freeze-thaw damage features of cemented sand gravel,three-dimensional finite element model of freeze-thaw damage was established to simulate the temperature, stress and damage state of dam body in operation period under different working conditions. The results show that the ordinary cement sand gravel appears freeze-thaw damage easily and is prone to pull crack for destruction.Adding admixture can improve the frost resistance, but it is not enough to resist freeze thawing. The measures of ‘Gold-Rimming-Silvering’ can effectively improve the state of temperature and stress of cemented sand gravel dam and prevent freeze thawing, which ensures permanent hydraulic structure safety and stability in operating period.
