Study on the Stress Influence Law and Bearing Characteristics of Cracked Lining Structure of a Long-term Service Diversion Tunnel
Lining crack is a common disease in diversion tunnel, which will affect the bearing capacity and safety of tunnel lining. This paper focused on the long-term service of the lining in the diversion tunnel of the Dongjiang Water Source Project as the research subject.Through on-site inspections, the geological conditions, distribution patterns, and characteristics of cracking in the entire tunnel section's fractures have been determined. The 3D numerical model of cracked lining is established by using the soft thin layer element in software ANSYS.The influence of the location change of the longitudinal cracks on the safety of the lining structure and the bearing characteristics of the cracked lining are sys-tematically analyzed. The results show that under the condition of lining cracking, the safety factor of local cracking area of lining structure decreases significantly. In particular, the cracks in the spandrel are far more harmful to the structure than the cracks in the side wall and arch-crown.In addition, the generation of cracks will affect the mechanical character-istics and stability of other uncracked parts. The numerical simulation results reflect the influence law of cracked lining on tunnel structure, which is consistent with the field inspection results. This paper provides a reference for the prevention and treatment of tunnel structural diseases under long-term service.
