Influence of Base Shape of Core Wall Rockfill Dam on Bedrock Foundation on the Base Structure
In order to study a suitable base shape scheme,taking the Miaotang Reservoir in Wusan as an example,numerical simulation was used to analyze the effects of different factors including upper side angle,downstream side angle of base and width on the core-wall and base connection structure.And then an optimization plan for the base shape was proposed.The results indicate that for the stress of the base,the degree of impact in descending order is:downstream side angle>base width>upstream side angle;For the vertical displacement of the core wall,the degree of impact in de-scending order is:upstream side angle>downstream side angle>base width;The optimization plan is conducive to de-formation control and stress safety of the connection structure,with various indicators decreasing to varying degrees,es-pecially the maximum tensile stress decreased by 71.1% compared to the initial plan.This optimization plan can be used as a reference for similar projects.
