Research on the Effect of Adding Waste Plastics on Concrete Under Different Curing Systems
In order to study the mechanism of adding waste plastic to steam cured concrete, mechanical tests of con-crete with different plastic particle contents were carried out,and a random aggregate model considering the effect of in-terface transition zone was established to simulate the effect of plastic particle addition on thermal damage of steam cured concrete.Through mercury intrusion test, the evolution law of pore structure of steam cured specimens with plastic parti-cle addition was revealed. The results show that with the increase of plastic particle content, the strength of steam cured specimens is higher than that of standard cured concrete; The internal stress caused by steam curing is significantly re-lieved by the addition of plastic particles, and the number of microcracks is significantly reduced, effectively suppressing the thermal damage caused by steam curing;Plastic particles refine the pore structure of steam cured concrete, reducing the proportion of harmful pores and increasing the proportion of harmless pores.
