Research on Detection of Internal Defects in Steel Lined Concrete Using Impact Echo Method
In response to the issue of the impact echo method being primarily utilized for thickness and defect detec-tion in single-medium structures, with limited application in detecting multi-medium structural defects, this paper propo-ses a formula for evaluating the thickness of components in steel-lined concrete composite structures based on the impact echo method.Firstly, numerical simulation was used to investigate the propagation characteristics of elastic waves within steel-lined concrete and analyze the impact of defect depth on the characteristic parameters of the impact echo method.Subsequently, indoor experimental research was conducted to further verify the accuracy of the correction formula. The results indicate that the proposed correction formula for calculating the thickness of steel-lined concrete components in the impact echo method is well-suited for defect detection in such components; The outstanding frequency obtained through impact echo method test can effectively reflect the internal condition of steel-lined concrete components.
