Research on Mechanical Behavior and Reinforcement of Gate Chamber Radial Support Beam of Spillway Tunnel in Hydropower Station
Three tunnel spillways are designed in parallel on the left bank of a hydropower station,and the gate cham-ber is connected to the spillway tunnel between the pressure tunnel and the non-pressure tunnel.The water flow is con-trolled by a curved working gate at the bottom of the gate chamber.After the excavation of the gate chamber,the brace summer is set up in the reverse arc section.The brace summer of the gate chamber is a mass concrete structure,which may be separated from the surrounding rock due to temperature load during construction.The contact relation with the surrounding rock in the reverse section is varied,and the mechanical behavior is complicated.The FLAC-3D software is used to analyze the force of the gate chamber brace summer and the surrounding rock,and the internal force calculation and reinforcement design of the brace summer are carried out.The research results can provide reference for the rein-forcement of the gate chamber brace summer of the spillway tunnel in other similar projects.
