Analysis of Operating Conditions and Transition Process of Pumping Station with Gravity Distribution Pipeline
In the third water purification plant project for urban and rural water supply in Huanxian County,the wa-ter supply pipeline of the pump station is divided along the line,and one of the branch pipelines is gravity flow.Different flow distribution of the branch pipes will result in different pipeline characteristic curves,and the operating conditions of the water pump are very complex.By drawing the pipeline characteristic curve and water pump characteristic curve,this paper analyzed the possible operating conditions,water pump operation status,and whether the end of the gravity flow distribution pipe is depressurized in sequence,which can guide the normal operation of the pump station after it is put into use.In addition,based on Bentley HAMMER V8i water hammer analysis software,the hydraulic transition process of the water pump and pipeline system after the end valve of the gravity flow branch pipe is closed was analyzed.By setting a reasonable valve closing time,the system pressure and flow fluctuations can be minimized.Finally,the accuracy of the analysis method for drawing the comprehensive characteristic curve of the water pump was verified through HAMMER software analysis,which can provide reference for similar projects.
