Variation Characteristics of Reservoir Capacity in Water Transfer System of Cascade Pumping Station
In order to solve the problems of canal collapse and tripping in the cascade pumping station system due to overload,large flow and high water level operation in the northwest of China,this paper takes the multi-cascade water transmission system of Jingdian Phase Ⅱ in Gansu Province as the research object.By using the methods of numerical simulation,theoretical analysis and field investigation,the paper studies the variation characteristics of the reservoir of the water transfer system of the cascade pump station after the accident shutdown,and establishes the theoretical expres-sion of the reservoir volume of the water transfer system after the shutdown of the pump station.The results show that the overflow curves of each pump station after the pump station is shut down exhibit a quadratic parabolic shape,and the main factors affecting the overflow flow of each channel are the length and slope of the channel;The correction formula for calculating the volume of the water transfer system storage tank after the pump station is shut down is highly consist-ent with the actual engineering situation.
