Research on Impacts of Pump Station Scale and Starting Level for Drainage of Pump Station on Switching Frequency of Pump Station
To scientifically plan and construct a new urban drainage system, reasonably set various parameters, avoid frequent start and stop of pumping stations, and shorten their service life, taking the second phase of the flood intercep-tion channel in Xiong'an New Area as an example,a hydrodynamic model was constructed to determine channel scale with river bottom width of 24 m,a river slope ratio of 1∶2,a pumping station scale of 50 m3/s,and a drainage level of 7 m.The relationships among factors such as pump station scale, pump station start and discharge water level, river bot-tom width, and pump station start and stop frequency was studied. The results show that increasing the scale of the pum-ping station results in a steeper curve of water surface profile with river mileage, and the frequency of opening and closing the pumping station increases compared to small-scale pumping stations.Increasing the water level of the pump station can effectively reduce the frequency of pump station opening and closing under the same pump station scale conditions.In-creasing the start and discharge water level of the pumping station is necessary to meet the same waterlogging water level requirements in the basin.Increasing the scale of the drainage pumping station will also increase the frequency of opening and closing of the end pumping station. Therefore,it is necessary to comprehensively compare and select the appropriate pumping station scale and start and discharge water level to ensure the safety performance of the end drainage pumping station.
