Experimental Study on Flocculation and Settlement of High Sandy Muddy Water in the Lower Reaches of the Tarim River
The siltation of micro-irrigation systems by fine-grained overhang, high sediment-content muddy water has always plagued the implementation of regional water-saving irrigation and the improvement of agricultural water-saving capacity. In this paper, five kinds of flocculants with different concentrations were selected for the typical turbid water of the Tarim River. The parameters such as sediment sedimentation ratio SV30,the volume V1h of silt sediment, turbidity of supernatant, treatment cost and other parameters were used as indicators, and the analytic hierarchy method and entropy weight method were applied to obtain the comprehensive weight of each parameter. The best group for removing its fine-grained sediment was preferred. The experimental results show that the sedimentation effect of anionic polyacrylamide PAM(-)is the best for considering the factors of flocculation sedimentation effect, flocculant cost, turbidity of sediment turbidity and volume of flocculate; The experimental group was the second optimal when the sediment concentration was 12%and the addition amount of PAM(-)was 0.01 g/L.The test results can provide a reference for the flocculation and sedimentation of high sand content in the middle and lower reaches of the Tahe River irrigation area.
