Analysis of Vibration Characteristics of Large Volume Concrete Structures in Pumping Stations Under Fluid-structure Coupling
The pressure pulsation caused by the dynamic and static interference of the water between the impeller and guide vanes during the operation of the pump station is the main cause of vibration in the concrete structure and unit of the pump station. In previous studies on pump stations and powerhouse of hydropower station, pulsation is expressed by nu-merical parameter form, which does not truly reflect the hydraulic interference between the fluid and the guide vanes. The finite element software ADINA is used to establish a three-dimensional fluid structure coupling model of the concrete structure, flow channel, and fluid in pump station. In particular, metal structures such as rack and axial flow pump are incorporated into the model to truly reflect the hydraulic interference between the fluid and the fixed guide vanes, and the pulsation transmission path is simulated. The vibration characteristics of the large volume concrete structure of the pum-ping station are analyzed, and the operational safety of the pump station is evaluated. The research results can provide reference for engineering practice.
