Study on Flow-induced Vibration Characteristics of Flow Control Plane Steel Gate at Layered Water Intake in Water Diversion Engineering
With the construction of national water network projects, the safety of layered water intake in water diver-sion projects has become particularly important.During the flow control of the layered intake gate, there may be different flow states such as open flow and submerged flow behind the gate, resulting in different vibration response characteristics of the gate. Therefore,it is necessary to evaluate the safety of the gate under each flow state.Taking a certain engineer-ing project as an example, modal analysis and flow induced vibration tests were conducted on the gate. The results show that the vibration parameters of the open flow and submerged flow behind the gate were less than the corresponding standard values; When there is a water jump behind the gate hitting the bottom of the gate, the vibration acceleration is too high;By reducing the gate flow to avoid adverse flow conditions, the vibration acceleration is less than the corre-sponding standard value. The excessive vibration caused by hydraulic factors can be reduced through operation mode. The research results can serve as a reference for similar projects.
