Analysis of Soil Heavy Metal Sources and Pollution Risk Assessment in the Riparian Zone of Qingshuihe River
In order to explore the sources and pollution status of heavy metals in the soil of the Qingshuihe River ripa-rian zone,a sampling survey was conducted in May 2023 on four heavy metals from 32 sampling points, such as arsenic(As),hexavalent chromium(Cr),lead(Pb),and mercury(Hg).Descriptive statistical methods, correlation analysis, cluster analysis,APCS-MLR model, pollution load index(PLI),and potential ecological risk index(RI)were compre-hensively used to evaluate the pollution sources. The results show that the contents of heavy metals As and Pb elements in the Qingshuihe River riparian zone were lower than the soil background values in Ningxia, and the Cr elements only ex-ceeded the standard at S6(Xianma river)and S9(dead ditch),which were the risk elements affecting the soil conditions, and Hg elements were the main ecological excess elements. As,Pb and Hg have significant correlation and homology, mainly affected by artificial sources such as agricultural development and transportation, fuel combustion, acid wastewater discharge and other unknown sources.Arsenic is also associated with geological factors.Cr elements are not only affected by soil parent material, but also by industrial production. The soil in the riparian zone of the Qingshuihe River is in a polluted state, the most serious area is the S6(Xianma River)area, which belongs to the strong hazard area, and the lightest area is the S4(winter solstice river)area, which belongs to minor hazard area.
