Preliminary Study on Distribution Patterns of Handeliodendron bodinieri Population in Maolan Nature Conservation
The distribution of Handeliodendron bodinieri, the first-class protected plant species in Maolan Nature Conservation, was investigated in the current work. The result showed that the distribution of H. bodinieri characterized in either clumped patterns or random patterns, however the clonal reproduction population was clumped pattern due to human disturbance. H. bodinieri mainly distributes in stony surface, stony gully and stony crevice among inclement microhabits of Karst area, revealing this species showed high potential for the plant rehabilitation in rocky Karst areas.
