Diurnal Variation of Soil Temperature under Different Land Use Pattern in Karst Mountainous Areas
Diurnal variation of soil temperature of five land use patterns in Dong Feng Zhen,a typical Karst basin at Guiyang City in Guizhou Province, were observed. The results showed that different land use patterns altered the coverage and height of aboveground vegetation, which in turn changed the environment microclimate. The temperature was in the order of greenhouse > grassland > farmland > shrubland > forestland. The soil temperature was delayed by 1 h at 5 cm of soil depth. The soil temperature at the depth of 5-25cm dropped with the evolution of the communities and the soil temperature decreased with depth.
