Investigation of Insect Resource in Renhuai City,Guizhou Province
In order to provide theoretical basis for the protection and utilization of insect resources in Renhuai City,the insect diversity and population distribution in this area were clarified through the field investigation The net-trap and light trap methods were used to survey the species and quantity of insects in the area.The results showed that:(1)A total of 800 species of insects belongling to 590 genera,224 families,20 orders were collected and identified from investigation area,including 61 families,147 genera and 207 species in Coleoptera,38 families,150 genera and 191 species in Lepidoptera,and 47 families,141 genera and 178 species in Hemiptera.(2)There was no significant difference among the 7 common insect orders in the Shannon-Wiener,Pielou and Simpson diversity index,but that was significant differences in Margalef index,and the richness index of Lepidoptera was as high as 184.4498.This study provided some references for the species diversity of insects in Renhuai City,and also laid a scientific foundation for the protection and utilization of insect resources.
