Simulation and optimization of emergency department treatment process based on Flexsim
How to shorten the patient's clinic time and improve the service efficiency and quality has become an important problem to be solved in the emergency department.Based on Flexsim software modeling,this study simulates and optimizes the emergency department treatment process.First,the input data required by the simulation model is processed by the Kolmogorov-Smirnov goodness-of-fit test together with other statistics methods.Second,through Flexsim software modeling and simulation,the resource bottleneck of emergency department treatment process is found out.Third,an optimization and improvement scheme is proposed to eliminate the resource bottleneck.And based on the Flexsim simulation model,the rationality of the optimized scheme is verified.Through optimization and improvement,the resource bottleneck of the emergency department system was eliminated,the patient crowding was effectively reduced,the patient's clinic time was shortened,and the treatment efficiency and patient satisfaction were improved.
