Investigation and Analysis of Sediment Deposition in Shagou Reservoir
The sedimentation of reservoir not only causes the loss of storage capacity,but also may lead to the change of the stress structure of the dam,which affects the comprehensive benefit of the reservoir.Based on the survey and geologi-cal exploration data of Shagou reservoir area,this paper analyzes the causes and the forms of reservoir siltation,and fur-thermore discusses how to reduce the siltation in combination with flood control,which provides reference for the investi-gation of siltation in similar reservoirs and prolonging the service life of reservoir.
