Current Status and Optimization Strategies for Layout of Hydrological Stations in Shandong
In the paper,it outlines the general situation of hydrological networks in Shandong Province and evaluates the network density of hydrological stations,water level stations,rainfall stations,soil moisture stations,groundwater stations,and water quality stations from the perspectives of the entire province,the Huaihe River,the Haihe Riveer,and Yellow River basins.It also analyzes the rationality of the station layout and monitoring capabilities.Addressing existing issues,it proposes strategies focusing on the construction of a"three-tiered defense system"for rainwater monitoring and forecasting,building a systematic network of hydrological stations,enhancing hydrological monitoring capabilities,and empowering the service areas of hydrological networks.These recommendations aim to provide robust support for stringent water resource management and the protection of river and lake ecosystems,thereby solidifying the foundation for Shandong's modern water network.
