Analysis of Hydrological Forecasting in Response to Extreme Weather Conditions
The Hydrological Center plays a crucial role in managing hydrological forecasting during flood seasons,with a specific focus on closely monitoring and analyzing the impact of extreme weather data on hydrological predictions.In recent years,the frequency of extreme meteorological events has increased in China.In the practical work of flood and drought prevention,hydrological stations must prioritize the analysis of extreme weather as a critical component of initiating hydrological forecast warnings.Building on meteorological early warning efforts,each hydrological station should implement preparatory measures for hydrological forecasting,develop pre-flood season work plans,and optimize workflow designs from the activation of warning conditions to the actual hydrological forecasting.This ensures more accurate hydrological forecast information,thereby making a more substantial contribution to flood and drought prevention.
