Comparative Selection of Construction Diversion Plans of Gongjia Regulating Gate on the Tuhai River in Dezhou
After years of operation,in the Gongjia regulating gate on the Tuhai River in Dezhou,it has suffered significant damage.In order to ensure the irrigation water demand upstream and downstream of the gate site during the construction period of the hazard removal and reinforcement project,a diversion plan combining partial and full cross-section diversion was selected following a comprehensive comparison.This approach not only effectively met the irrigation water requirements upstream and downstream but also significantly reduced the flow volume at the gate site by distributing the incoming water across several levels.This reduction in flow volume decreased the risk of river channel and bank slope collapse,reduced the volume of construction work,and saved on project costs.
