This paper introduces the basic characteristics of serious shortage of water resources,unbalanced regional distribution and inter-annual drastic changes in Liaocheng Municipality,analyzes the existing problems of high proportion of agricultural water use,unbalanced use of water resources and low utilization rate of water resources,summarizes the main methods of water resources management,and puts forward several suggestions.
