In Weifang Municipality,the comprehensive utilization of seawater industry has a strong foundation,which is the largest salt bromine production and export base in China.Based on the SWOT model analysis,this paper reviewed the four influential factors on comprehensive utilization of seawater in Weifang,i.e.Strength(S),Weakness(W),opportunitiy(O)and threat(T).It is concluded that the most appropriate strategy for comprehensive utilization of seawater industry in Weifang at present is S+O aggressive strategy,composed of Strength(S)and opportunity(O).Furthermore,it puts forward the suggestions on development,which will make the industry achieve better development under the new situation in Weifang.
