Influence Analysis of the Determination Method of Backwater Peak Extinction Point on the Reservoir Inundation Area
The peak extinction point of reservoir backwater is the basis for determining the end point of reservoir inundation treatment, which affects the scope of reservoir inundation area.In order to explore the degree of influence of the method of determining the backwater peaking point on the reservoir inundation area, this paper takes the Niuling Reservoir project in Anhui province as an example, determines the backwater peaking point of the Niuling reservoir project, based on the current norms of hydraulic and hydropower engineering and hydropower engineering respectively, and calculates the inundation impact range of the Niuling Reservoir project accordingly. The results show that,The inundation area of Niuling reservoir determined by the method of water conservancy and hydropower engineering is 0.27%more than that by the method of hydropower engineering. The inundation area of Niuling Reservoir is less affected by the method of determining the peaking point, but different reservoirs may be affected differently due to different hydrological and topographic conditions. In the planning and design process, various conditions should be considered comprehensively according to the characteristics of the project to determine the peaking point of the backwater reasonably.
