Influence of North Extension Line under South-to-North Water Diversion Project on Wucheng County and Suggestions
The phase I of the East Route of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project Section north of Shandong Province ends in Liuwu River control gate in Wucheng County.On April 24,2019,the Liuwu River control gate was opened,and the north extension water diversion project was officially operated.After it entered the stage of normal water supply,it had a certain positive impact on Wucheng County,but also affected the irrigation and drainage system.A series of measures should be taken to minimize the impact,ensure agricultural irrigation,improve grain production and increase farmers'income.
