基于鲸鱼优化变分模态分解联合小波阈值的光电容积脉搏波降噪方法研究

为探究光电容积脉搏波(photoplethysmography,PPG)的降噪方法,本研究提出了一种基于鲸鱼优化算法(whale opti-mization algorithm,WOA)、变分模态分解(variational mode decomposition,VMD)和小波阈值(wavelet threshold,WT)结合的降噪方法.首先,通过WOA选取对VMD影响较大的模态分解数K和惩罚因子α;其次,利用VMD将含噪信号进行分解,根据相关系数去除噪声分量,保留有用信号分量,再利用WT对剩余的分量降噪;最后,重构得到处理后的PPG信号.实验表明,本研究方法可提高信号的信噪比并降低均方误差指标,能降低信号噪声并保留信号特征.
Research on photoplethysmography denoising method based on whale optimization algorithm variational mode decomposithon combined with wavelet threshold
To explore the noise reduction method of photoplethysmography(PPG),we proposed a novel algorithm based on whale optimization algorithm(WOA),variational mode decomposithon(VMD)and wavelet threshold(WT).Firstly,the mode decomposi-tion number K and penalty factor α which had great influence on VMD were selected by WOA.Secondly,VMD was used to decompose the noisy signals,remove the noise component according to the correlation coefficient,and retain the useful signal component,and then WT was used to denoise the remaining component.Finally,the processed PPG signals were obtained through reconstruction.The experi-ment results showed that the proposed method could improve the signal to noise ratio and reduce the mean square error index,and it can reduce the signal noise and retain the signal characteristics.
