An Analysis of Experience of Training Elderly Care Professionals in Singapore
At present,the shortage of elderly care personnel in China's aging society has become a bottleneck for development.The talent cultivation system for elderly care in Singapore is relatively mature,and the analysis of experience is expected to provide inspiration for China's aging response.The Singapore government advocates for age in place,building a suitable community environment for elderly care,providing comprehensive pension protection,and forming a complete community elderly care service system.Singapore initially faced a shortage of nursing talents,with solutions including unblocking career paths and expanding education and training,multi-level education to meet social needs,improving the quality of nursing talent training across disciplines,and strengthening registration,certification,and industry management.Singapore is currently implementing community nursing competency-oriented continuing education,and macro suggestions are proposed for the cultivation of elderly care talents in China.
