An Analysis of the Relationship between Teachers and Students as"Half-strangers"in College Moral Education
The"half-stranger"relationship formed between teachers and students in college moral education has a negative impact on the effectiveness of moral education. The formation of this"half-stranger"relationship can be attributed partly to teaching organizational factors such as the popularization of higher education and the imbal-ance of teacher-student ratio. However, the more important reason lies in the standardization, future, integrity, transcendence and theory of the content of moral education,as well as the comprehensive influence of social exter-nal environment. It is worth noting that the"half-stranger"relationship between teachers and students is different from the complete"stranger"relationship. There is still the most basic trust between teachers and students, and tra-ditional teacher-student ethics such as preaching, teaching, and solving doubts are still universal ideals.Students also generally hope to receive real education and genuine improvement. This provides a basic premise and possibility for the improvement of teacher-student relationship and the quality of moral education. In order to improve the rela-tionship between teachers and students and enhance the quality of moral education teaching,we can design specific countermeasures from the perspectives of technology, content, role and consciousness.
