Survey of Information Needs and Information Services ofRural Population and Rural Area:Since 2008
The paper analyses the 175 articles published since 2008 on the subject of information needs ofpeasants and information services of rural area on the basis of describing the profile.The paper makes a deep andysisfrom two aspects of subject and method.The results shows that the amount of studies has keeping rising steadily andthe importance of this subject has been shown;that the subjects have becoming various but still being centralized;and that most of the studies are descriptive and qualitative and the normalization of research needs to be improved.
