The former site of Shandong Provincial Library is located in the southwest corner of Daming Lake Park in central Jinan city,Shandong Province.In the course of China's modern library history,its garden-style library building has its own style in China's modern library building,which has become the model of inheriting the ancient books collection culture;The way of operating the museum attached with the Stone Preservation Institute also opens up a unique path of the integration and development of modern libraries and museums in China.What is partic-ularly valuable is that the former Shandong Provincial Library is still keeping the spirit of education continuously and adheres to openness to the public,which provides a good example for the activation and utilization of historical excel-lent buildings.
