The new policy of national scientific research awards proposes to standardize the use of relevant indicators of SCI papers,which will have a significant impact on the library's verification services.At the stage when indicators are"broken"but not"established",exploring the development direction of verification service will plan verification services in advance.It will play a good supporting role in the effectiveness of the new policy.The paper analyses the current situation of the National Library's verification service correspondingly and the changing charac-teristics of user needs with the key content of the new policy,explores the evaluation content and service mode that adapt to the change of user needs,and establishes a multi-dimensional service system supported by smart library services.The innovative practice of library verification service under the new policy has achieved good results.
