Due to the shrapnel hole in the"May 3rd Massacre",the main damage condition of Chu Ci col-lected by Shandong Provincial Library is the tear and defect of book leaves.Since the restoration cases of war-dam-aged ancient books are rarely involved in the restoration studies of ancient books,the paper thickness and book per-formance are relatively special.Its paper and damage conditions are special,so the paper explains its particularity from the superposition repair paper selection and restoration methods,in order to provide ideas for the restoration research of war-damaged ancient books.
