Elegant and Worthy:Mr.Yang Haiqiao's Contribution to the Rural Library Cause in Modern China
During the period of the Republic of China,Mr.Yang Haiqiao,a local hero in Xian County,Hebei Province,was concerned about the development of local cultural undertakings.He created Haiqiao Library in Feng'er Village with his own strength,which was rooted in the countryside and free of charge,benefiting the scholars and blessing the villagers.Mr.Yang Haiqiao was not only a brave and progressive doer of rural library,but also a brilliant thinker of rural library.He put forward the ideas of promoting rural education,developing rural libraries first,paying attention to the publicity work of rural libraries,and developing literature resources co-creation and sha-ring for value co-creation and rural schools.These ideas not only have the advanced nature of the times,but also have important reference value for the development of rural library undertakings today.
