Zheng Zhenduo's Historical Contribution to the Collections Construction in the National Library of China
Zheng Zhenduo was a book collector and one of the important founders in the library industry of the People's Republic of China.Through a comprehensive examination of relevant literature,it can be seen that Zheng Zhenduo made significant contributions to the construction of the National Library's collection in the Republic of China,including assisting in book purchases,preventing the transportation of books to Taiwan,and mobilizing donations to spark a donation boom.With the guidance and assistance of Zheng Zhenduo,the number of books in the National Library has more than tripled,the number of rare books has doubled,and the quality of book collections has also made a qualitative leap in the short 8 years after the establishment of the People's Republic of China.
