The old site of Tinglan Library is located in Shanxi Agricultural University,Taigu County,Shanxi Province,which used to be the library of Shanxi Mingxian School during the Republic of China period.Tinglan Library was designed by the famous American architect Murphy and its architectural style is a combination of Chinese and Western.The roof of the exterior is Chinese while the internal structure is Western.Its spaciousness,excellent facilities and professional management show the advanced level of Chinese library business at that time,and it can be called a model of university library in that period.
