An Analysis of Experiential Science Popularization Activities for Children in Public Libraries——Taking the"Science Open Course"of Nanjing Library as an Example
Experiential science popularization is very suitable for children due to its interactive and participa-tory characteristics.Under the concept of popular science,there is great potential for public libraries to deepen expe-riential popular science services.The article analyzes the implementation path of experiential science popularization based on the specific practice of the"Science Open Class"at the Nanjing Library,including precise positioning,grasping children's needs,creating science popularization scenes,creating immersive classrooms,integrating diverse experiential elements,encouraging parent-child participation,and exploring strategies for the sustainable and healthy development of experiential science popularization through the use of new technologies,uniting social forces,integra-ting high-quality resources,cultivating science popularization professional teams,and establishing evaluation and feedback mechanisms.
